Job requirements

What you’ll be doing

  • Deal Sourcing and Screening: Assist in sourcing potential investment opportunities by conducting market research, tracking industry trends, and assessing inbound deal flow.
  • Due Diligence: Collaborate with the investment team to perform due diligence on potential investment targets. This includes conducting market analyses, assessing financials, evaluating business models, and conducting competitor analyses.
  • Market Research / Industry Dossiers: Stay up-to-date with developments in the impact investing landscape, emerging technologies, & market trends. Conduct deep dives into selected research areas and define investment hypotheses.
  • Impact Assessment: Contribute to the assessment of startups' social and environmental impact potential.
  • Presentation and Reporting: Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for the investment team, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and risks associated with potential investments.


What you bring:

  • Educational Background: You have a Bachelor's degree in healthcare, tech, science, or business. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Prior Experience: You have collected first-hand experiences in start-ups, venture capital, private equity, consulting and/or you have a medical background.
  • Passion for Impact: You have a strong interest in impact investing and driving positive change through business.
  • Analytical Skills: You are an analytical person which enables you to evaluate business models with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Research Acumen: You have the ability to quickly gather and synthesise information from various sources.
  • Radical Ownership: You have a hands-on approach and you bring a significant willingness to work independently.
  • Team Player: You have a collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a small, close-knit team.
  • Adaptability: You feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment.
  • Language requirements: You are fluent in English


Duration: 
The internship should last at least 4 months full-time and will take place in Munich or Berlin. Shorter periods are negotiable for applicants with full-time professional experience.
