At Ananda Impact Ventures, we are looking for a motivated and analytical Finance & Operations Intern to support our Finance Team in its daily activities while helping us improve and modernize our processes through AI, automation and data analytics.

Working directly with our Head of Finance, you will gain hands-on experience in venture capital fund operations, portfolio controlling and impact investing. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to challenge existing workflows, explore new technologies and implement practical improvements.

What You'll Be Doing

Finance & Fund Operations

• Support day-to-day finance and fund management activities, including financial reporting, capital calls, distributions and financial analysis.

• Assist with quarterly and annual reporting, financial data preparation and communication with external service providers.

• Support the preparation of financial materials for investors, board meetings and internal decision-making, leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.

• Analyze and optimize existing financial reporting and operational workflows through automation and digital solutions.

Portfolio Controlling & Financial Data

• Support the collection, validation and analysis of financial data from our portfolio companies.

• Help develop automated data collection processes, portfolio monitoring tools and KPI dashboards.

• Leverage AI and data analytics to improve reporting quality, identify inconsistencies and generate meaningful insights into portfolio performance.

Impact Measurement & ESG

• Support the collection, consolidation and analysis of impact and ESG data across our portfolio. Assist with impact reporting, ESG assessments and SFDR-related reporting requirements.

• Explore and implement AI-supported solutions to streamline data collection, improve data quality and facilitate impact and ESG reporting.

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics or a related field.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a good understanding of financial concepts and proficiency in Excel.

• A strong interest in AI, digital tools and process optimization, ideally with practical experience applying them to real-world tasks.

• An interest in venture capital, portfolio management and impact investing.

• A proactive, structured and hands-on mindset, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Fluent communication skills in English and German.

Most importantly, you enjoy working with financial data and are curious about how technology and AI can make financial processes smarter, more efficient and more insightful.

Duration: The internship should last at least 6 months full-time and will take place in Munich.
